MAXFIELD ELEMENTARY OFFERS PANTHER BUCKS PROGRAM
How it Works: This year students will be able to earn Panther Bucks throughout each six weeks and “Spend” them at the PTO store. We will set up inside the elementary building following the six weeks awards where students who earned Panther Bucks can shop through a variety of prizes!

The Gorman Lady Panthers took a major step toward nailing down a berth in the Class A state playoffs last week by grinding out a pair of impressive wins. Gorman moved to 5-1 in district play with wins over Bluff Dale and Strawn.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Vicki and I wish you all a blessed and prosperous new year! May you be rich in good health, a loving family, and safety! I suppose that all the families with children in school were glad to see school back in session Monday. I bet even the kids were glad to get back in school if for no other reason than to see all their friends. Although with Facetime, Facebook and other internet sites, I’m sure the kids stayed in touch with some of their friends over the holidays.
