The Gorman Lady Panthers took a major step toward nailing down a berth in the Class A state playoffs last week by grinding out a pair of impressive wins. Gorman moved to 5-1 in district play with wins over Bluff Dale and Strawn.
Against Bluff Dale, the Lady Panthers garnered double-digit efforts from five players, including 23 from Kyndall Scitern, and rolled to a 75-4 decision.
It didn’t take Gorman long to remove all doubt as to the game’s outscore. The Lady Panthers outscored Bluff Dale by a 35-2 clip on the first two quarters and never looked back.
