Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller has endorsed Kerri Kingsbery, Candidate for Texas House District 68. They will both be in attendance for this Meet & Greet event in Gorman on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16th, 3-5 pm @ Campbell Construction,

The Gorman Lady Panthers found the perfect way to get back on track following a recent loss to Gordon – they pounded out impressive wins over rivals Strawn and Huckabay last week.

I am ready for Spring! How about you? I am not a cold weather person, never have been, never will be. I know we gripe about the 100 degree weather but I prefer it to freezing. Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar has announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.1 billion in local sales tax allocations for January, 3.3 percent more than in January 2023.

On January 18 Hayden Tuttle was selected to compete in the Calf Scramble at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo where he caught a calf. He will be competing next year at Fort Worth with a heifer. Hayden is from Gorman showing under County 4H.

The Gorman Lady Panthers continued their impressive march through district play last week by cruising past Three Way, 75-9, in a key district matchup.

The Gorman High School Lady Panthers moved a step closer to clinching a postseason bid this past week by pounding out a pair of impressive wins in District 19-A play. The Gorman girls improved to 5-1 in district play with routs of Bluff Dale and Strawn.
