Ranger College’s new mens basketball coach, Zack Verhulst, expressed his enthusiasm about stepping-in to lead the team to another great year. He was assistant coach on T.J. Cox’s staff as the Rangers’ qualified for the 2022-2023 NJCAA Men’s Division National Basketball Tournament. Coach Cox accepted a position with Northwestern State University in Louisiana.

RANGER BULLDOGS--Brazos Bowl All Star Volleyball game in the books

We are so very thankful to the Ranger Fire Department for helping make our Fun Day a success!

Macie Morgan had options when it came to continuing her collegiate volleyball career. The 5-foot, 9-inch all-conference had been contacted by teams from Montana, West Virginia, Ohio and Oklahoma seeking for her to bring her talents there. In the end, the Fort Worth native decided the South Plains was the best place for her.

The Ranger Citizens Task Force wanted to breathe a bit of fresh air into the community last weekend with the inaugural Ranger Bull Riding show. At the same time, they also wanted to make sure everyone remembered the sacrifices made by the men and women in the U.S. military, as well as their families on Memorial Day.

IT’S REUNION TIME AGAIN!! The descendants of the late T.J. and Addie Adams and the late T.W. and Mary Ann Hatton will meet at the Bullock schoolhouse for their annual reunion on Sunday, June 4th. All friends, relatives, community and neighbors are cordially invited to attend. Good food and good memories are a guarantee. Hope to see you there!
