Cisco Police Department
Sadly, Cisco Police Department has investigated two separate deaths in the last week. Death Investigations are not something any of us enjoy but are necessary when the time comes. We have lost two young men to gunshot wounds and our hearts go out to all who mourn. On May 29, 2023 officers responded to a call of a gunshot victim. After an investigation was conducted it has been determined that a 15 year old male died from an accidental discharge of a gun.

Sale Every Monday Starting at 10:00 AM, Graham, Texas (940) 549-0078 June 5, 2023 Receipts were 2018 including 599 Packer cows, Bred Cows, and Pairs. 1419 Yrls and Clfs. We had 254 consignors and 60 buyers. Packer cows were steady. Packer bulls were steady to $2 higher. Young replacement cows and pairs were steady with a good demand. The market for steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were steady to $5 higher. The market for steers and heifers weighing over 500# were $5-$8 higher. We had a good run of cattle with the market being higher in all classes.

Macie Morgan to continue career at LCU
Macie Morgan had options when it came to continuing her collegiate volleyball career. The 5-foot, 9-inch all-conference had been contacted by teams from Montana, West Virginia, Ohio and Oklahoma seeking for her to bring her talents there. In the end, the Fort Worth native decided the South Plains was the best place for her.
