Cisco Police Department

Sadly, Cisco Police Department has investigated two separate deaths in the last week. Death Investigations are not something any of us enjoy but are necessary when the time comes. We have lost two young men to gunshot wounds and our hearts go out to all who mourn. On May 29, 2023 officers responded to a call of a gunshot victim. After an investigation was conducted it has been determined that a 15 year old male died from an accidental discharge of a gun.

On June 4, 2023 officers responded to a similar call in which a 26 year old male was pronounced deceased after an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. Both were sent to Southwest Institute for Forensic Science in Dallas Texas for autopsy.
