Dean Mason, Sports Information Director of Ranger College, spoke to Ranger Lions Club members about his position as Sports Information Director and all this position includes. It is certainly not an “eight hour a day position - weekends free” workplace he explained, as anything can come up at anytime and games are also scheduled for the weekends. Mason said he felt very privileged to hold the position, however, and to work with the excellent coaches and athletes at Ranger College. The Ranger Veterans Support Group attended the Vietnam “TET” reunion Saturday the 3rd of February. This event is hosted by the “Abilene Grunts Assoc.” and Texas Veterans.
