Tim Renfro stopped by to visit Ranger Lions Club. He gave a summary of the District’s goals for growth and service this club year, and encouraged Ranger Lions to strive towards receiving a Melvin Jones Award, one of the most prestigious service awards to be given by Lions Club International.
New RC Baseball Head Coach Dalton Rodriquez was the meeting’s speaker. After several years as assistant coach, Coach Rodriquez is now in his 1st year as head coach. Rodriquez spoke on his decision to pursue a career in baseball. “I am very proud of my dad”, he added, saying that his father “breathed baseball”. Coach Rodriquez
brings a great amount of experience to his position at Ranger College and voiced his expectations for the RC baseball team - one being to bring home the National Championship Title. Coach Rodriquez added how grateful he is to be at Ranger College and very optimistic about the future of the college’s baseball program.
