Well this is it Saturday May 20th is the day. Bartee Metals, LLC Roaring Rangers Bull Riding is about to happen. The Event will be at the historic Old Sale Barn on Loop 254 in Ranger, Texas. Looks like the weather is going to be beautiful, mid to upper 70's, and the arena is set.
Both, The Blake Fullenwider Pro-Am at 2:30 pm and the La Hacienda Restaurant Main Event Bull Riding at 7:30pm are sanctioned by the World Professional Bull Riders Organization headquartered in Corsicana, Texas. There are some 84 bull riders entered in the two events on Saturday. There will also be a featured professional women's bull riding during this event. There is a very close race between the Ingram sisters right now. Mariah and Natalie Ingram are first and second respectfully with only a few points separating them for the Title.
At 5:00 pm it's the Ranger Citizens Task Force kids Mutton Bustin. Entries are taken at the arena. Entry fee is $25.00 and kids must weigh less than 55lbs. Once your participant is weighed in they will be given a bandana and an E & E Equipment back number just like the 'big boys' who are entered in the bull riding. Everyone that participates will receive a Cowser Tire and Service belt buckle. There are two categories in which to sign up in. We start with the Amateur division then move straight into the Pro riders. The winners of each division will be awarded a Championship trophy. Signups are at the arena between 2:00pm and 3:30pm. There are usually a lot of entries so be there on time for signups. The 5:00 pm show is always a fan favorite.
