The Cisco Lady Loboes moved a step closer to the state softball tournament this past weekend by sweeping past McCamey in their Area round playoff matchup. The Lady Loboes won the first two games in their bestof-three series.
Offensively, Cisco unloaded on McCamey’s pitchers. The Lady Loboes reeled off 27 runs in their two outings.
Cisco, now 18-8 overall, rolled to a 10-5 win in Game 1. They finished off the effort with a 17-4 decision in Game 2. With the win, the Lady Loboes earned the right to face Stamford in the regional quarterfinals this weekend. Stamford enters the matchup at 21-5.
