Saturday, May 20th at the old Ranger Sale Barn in Ranger, Texas will be the Bartee Metals, LLC Roaring Ranger Bull Riding. The three shows will exhibit champion bull riders from across the southwest. Some sixty riders in two shows plus the 5:00 pm Ranger Task Force Mutton Bustin for the kids.
This year’s show will feature some true entertainers alongside the exciting live bull riding. Twelve year old Ava Goble from Haslet, Texas will perform an opening act of song. Ava is the 2023 Mid-South American Association of Christian Schools showcase Champion. She has been singing at the Chute 2 Productions ( the Event Producer) shows since she was nine years old. “I heard her sing the National Anthem at a church event in 2019 and I said she has to do that at our shows”, confirmed Kelly Clark owner of Chute 2 Productions. Ava, an accomplished singer who has auditioned for the hit TV show “America’s Got Talent”, will be singing the National Anthem at this year’s event as well. This little ball of energy is worth the ticket alone.
Also featured at this year’s Blake Fullenwider Auto Group Pro Am at 2:30 pm as well as the La Hacienda Restaurant Main Event Bull Riding will be renowned trick and stunt professional Garrett Underwood from Tyler, Texas. Garrett is an accomplished trick rider, trick roper and gun twirler. Garrett has performed at rodeos across the country and in January was a competitor at the International Finals Showcase in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
