The Gorman Lady Panthers are proof a few athletes can work together to do great things.
Competing with just 13 athletes, the Lady Panthers rolled up 170 points last week and sprinted to the District 19-A track and field title at Bob and Norma Cervetto Field in Dublin. The Lady Panthers finished more than 30 points ahead of the field, which included teams twice as large as Gorman’s.
“That goes to show their work ethic, heart and determination,” said Gorman coach Kristi Sandoval.
