A program sponsored by the Texas Department of Transportation and Texas AgriLife Extension Service, “When Sean Speaks”, was presented to the student body of Ranger College Friday, April 7 at 11 a.m.
Sean Carter, an almost 40 year old victim of driving under the influence, and handicapped as a result with traumatic brain injury, was the presenter.
Sean, a non-talker has been incapacitated since his accident at age 22, in which he was the passenger of a vehicle drivien by an alcohol- impaired driver, in a one-car collision which slammed Sean severely against a tree. Sean was also inebriated after attending an early Easter outing with friends.
