Heading into the 2023 softball season, everyone expected Hannah Rogers and Justice Fox to be outstanding players. Neither have disappointed.
The two Eastland County players are currently ranked among the Big Country’s top players in several categories, according to bigcountrypreps. com. The statistics have been reported by area high school coaches through April 1. One of the area’s top pitchers, Rogers ranks in the top 25 in several pitching categories, including innings pitched and wins. Through the Lady Loboes’ first two months of play, she has worked 50 innings and recorded five victories. She’s 10th in the area in strikeouts with 73.
Fellow CHS pitcher Aubrey Corpus is also doing well. She has collected two wins despite working just 14 innings. Fox and Cheyenne Trammell are both turning in solid outings offensively. Fox is ranked in the area’s top 15 in on-base percentage with a mark of .571. Trammell has 16 steals, the seventh-most of any player in the Big Country.
