The Cisco High School boys’ and girls’ track teams both turned in solid showings at the Golden Shoe Relays in Clyde Last Thursday. Both squads finished fourth in their respective team standings.
The CHS boys, backed by a stellar showing in the relay events, rolled up 82 points and tied rival Eastland for fourth in the boys’ standings. The Lady Loboes rolled up 95 points and finished just one point shy of finishing third in the girls’ division. Cade Gayle, Hunter Long , Kelton Desmond and Jaden White gave the CHS faithful plenty of reason to cheer in the 4x100-meter race. The four legged out a time of 44.18 seconds in the race and finished second overall.
Gus Hart, Long, Gayle and White were equally as impressive in the 4x200-meter race. They handed Cisco 16 points by turning in a secondplace time of 1:33.38.
