EASTLAND – Frances Warren Smith, age 80, passed away November 7, 2020. Dedication of her monument will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Eastland City Cemetery. All friends and family are invited to a very informal service.
Fran was born January 14, 1940 at Gorman, Texas to J.P. Pete Warren and Lillie Mae Andry Warren. She attended Ranger High School and graduated from there.
Frances was a wonderful cook ad cooked for the Eastern Star of which she was a lifetime member. She was saved April 12, 1952 at Ranger Frist Baptist Church and baptized the same day. Fran took piano from Mrs. Neely and learned quickly. She retired from Gifford Hill Pipe in Arlington, Texas and worked for Pizza Pro for Kelly Reep and Sheila for many years. She had the highest IQ in her class.
Survivors are daughters, Pam Westmoreland and Cindy Gordy (Barry); sisters, Sherra Cate and Treania Graham; grandchildren, Melissa Prickett, Elijah Westmoreland, and Jacob Westmoreland; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her parents, J.P. Pete Warren and Lille Mae Andry Warren and grandson, James Gordy.
