The Cisco Lady Loboes’ hopes of capturing a state track and field title are alive and well, especially after they nailed down berths in the upcoming state track and field meet in all three relay events this past week at the Region II-2A Championships in Springtown.
Overall, Cisco finished second in the girls’ team standings with 91 points and, more importantly, clinched five berths in the state meet, including a pair of individual events by Jayla Pittman and Pearson Hearne.
The CHS relay teams stole the show for the Lady Loboes. They scored 48 of the squad’s total points.
