Sam Houston: Texas Icon opened this week at the Eastland County Museum in VHHESFHEHVHVHVHHH National Endowment for the Humanities, and made possible in part by funding from the Summerlee Foundation, traces the life and career of Houston from his boyhood in Virginia and Tennessee through his retirement and eventual passing in Huntsville, Texas. The exhibition will be available to the public from April 3 to April 26, 2025 during business hours of Thursday -Saturday, 10-2. Special tour times for classrooms can be arranged. As always, there is never a fee to visit the Eastland County Museum.
