The Cisco Lady Loboes won nine events, including three by Jayla Pittman, on March 27 and cruised to the top spot at the Roaring Lion Relays in Albany. The CHS girls rolled up 236.75 points and easily edged out Eastland for the top spot in the standings.
Pittman highlighted the Lady Loboes efforts by winning all three of the events she participated in. She dominated the 100-meter hurdles race by legging out a winning time of 16.66 seconds. She followed that up with wins in the high jump and long jump.
Pearson Hearne and Pyper Lee also collected several medals. Hearne, who placed third in the 100-meter hurdles at 17.71, won the girls’ 300-meter hurdles race with a run of 48.71. She also finished second in the discus standings with a throw of 91 feet, 2 inches, and took fifth in the pole vault at 8-6.
