Ranger College Track & Field Dominates First Division I Outdoor Meet with Clean Sweep
HOUSTON, Texas Ranger College Track & Field again made history by sweeping both the men’s and women’s divisions at their first-ever Division I outdoor meet, marking a significant milestone for the institution.
On the women’s side, Victaline Mutai capped the meet with a standout performance, taking first place in the 5K with a time of 18:34.90. The victory not only earned her a spot at the outdoor nationals but also ranked her first in the nation. Other notable finishes for the women’s team included: Stella Lagat, second place, 18:51.54 Alyssa Mabry, third place, 19:38.40 Myla Greenzweig, fourth place, 19:43.84 Alfrenique Knowles placed first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.57, securing third place in the nation.
