Tribute to Eastland Hero, Kenneth Chapman
By Vance O’Brien Faithful Lions Club member, entrepreneur in machinery/and much more, devoted friend and all around good guy, Ken Chapman has died.
Speaking of a career in legendary deeds and getting things done, Chapman laid the ground for the rental of equipment/ machinery in Eastland as proprietor/owner of Grandpas’ Tool Sheed. Another forte of Mr. Chapman was the selling/maintenance of motorcycles and ATV’s. Ken was a hero for many when he put his hand to relieving the danger for leaking HCL in the historic train wreck/collision on N. Seaman in Eastland. He shut off the valve which was allowing the acid to leak to possibly dangerous levels.
