Vera Mae Morris Clack passed away on January 23, 2025. She was a loving, kind, patient wife, mother and mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and teacher who will be deeply missed.
Vera is survived by her loving family of three sons and daughters-in-law, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, brother-in-law, nephews, and nieces. Born into a Texas pioneer ranching family, Vera was passionate about her West Texas heritage of humor, courage, independence, the love of the land, and faithfulness to God.
She was preceded in passing by her husband of 70 years, The Reverend Dr. Jack L. Clack, who almost burst with pride whenever she walked into the room. She took great joy in her “good-looking” family, recognizing special talents in each one.
