TERRELL, Texas — Ranger College’s men’s basketball team ended a drought on January 22, 2025, defeating Southwestern Christian College 88-70. The Rangers, hungry for a win after a series of losses, dominated the game with a strong first half, outscoring the Rams 47-31. Although the Rams closed the gap in the second half, they were outscored again 4139 by the Rangers.
Anthony Medlock led the Rangers with 21 points and 3 assists, playing the full 40 minutes. Kaylon Mason scored 20 points with 1 assist and 2 steals in 25 minutes, while C.J. Evans contributed 17 points and 11 assists in his full 40 minutes. Chase Collins added 15 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals in 34 minutes of play.
With this victory, Ranger College held a 1-3 record in conference play and stood at 11-9 overall. Their next game is scheduled against Grayson College Vikings on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 7:00pm in the Ron Butler Gymnasium at Ranger College.
