The Cisco Lady Loboes had no trouble remaining unbeaten in District 10-2A play and Pearson Hearne had even less trouble becoming the fourth CHS player in the past three seasons to surpass the 1,000-point scoring mark on Friday in the Ray Saunders Gym.
Hearne pumped in a game-high 22 points and led the Lady Loboes to an impressive 79-21 rout of the Anson Lady Tigers. With the win, Cisco improved to 23-9 for the season and moved to 9-0 in district. Anson fell to 3-7 in district.
“We’re hitting stride at the right time,” said Lady Loboes’ head coach Brent Kilpatrick. “The kids played well.”
