The Cisco Loboes will join many of the teams in West Texas in keeping an eye on the Class 2A Division I state football championship on Thursday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
That’s because the Loboes’ district rival, the Stamford Bulldogs, will be gunning for the 2024 state title. Stamford is scheduled to face Ganado at 11 a.m. on December 19 for the state crown.
The Bulldogs, now 15-0, have been one of the more dominant teams in the state this fall. Stamford has outscored its opponents by a 707-155 clip this season. Last week, the Bulldogs upended previously unbeaten Hamilton by a 28-13 clip.
