RANGER, TX—’Tis the Season! On Friday, December 6th gather the family and come out to downtown Ranger for the annual lighted Christmas parade, now in its 29th year. The parade starts at 6 pm and we will travel along Main Street from Lula Avenue to Commerce Street. Bring your family and your Christmas spirit.
Mr. and Mrs. Claus will ride in the parade and then greet kids at the gazebo with treats. We are excited to announce the Hardin Simmons University Cowboy Marching Band will perform during and after the parade which will include the beautiful HSU Six White Horses. Stay after for the HSU Cowboy Band performance and delicious hot chocolate provided by Woodbridge Church.
If you are interested in joining the parade, please visit the Ranger Historical Preservation Society Facebook page for the online entry form or email us at rhps1990@protonmail. com or call 254-631-8912. Entry is FREE and we welcome all groups, businesses, organizations, churches, and individuals who want to show off their creativity and joy for the holidays.
