By Tommy Wells The Cisco Loboes will face off with a familiar foe in the Class 2A Division I regional semithird round of the state playoffs – district rival Stamford.
The two teams are scheduled to face off McMurry University in Abilene.
The No.1-ranked team in the state, Stamford enters the game with a perfect 12-0 record. The Bulldogs edged an injury-riddled Lobo squad by a 41-14 margin on Oct. 11. Stamford earned its way into re-49-13 win over Panhan Offensively, Stamford has been a juggernaut on both sides of the ball this fall. Offensively, they have scored 576 points in their 12 games. Defensively, they have yielded just 109 points.
