Dual Credit Courses Are on the Rise At Cisco College – Including Cosmetology

Cisco College is now offering Dual Credit courses in Cosmetology at Hawley High School.

“We have three cosmetology courses at Hawley this fall,” said Rhonda Bryant, director of the Cisco program. “Some of the students will start as sophomores, and they will be licensed before they get out of high school.”

Dual Credit courses are on the rise across the spectrum at Cisco College, which now works with 42 partner high schools in 38 school districts. Total enrollment for Fall 2024 at Cisco College was 3,266; of that number, Dual Credit enrollment is 1518, or 46% of the total student population, according to Nathan Monroe, a Dual Credit Counselor of the college.
