By Tommy Wells The Lingleville Cardinals scored three times in the second quarter en route to breaking open a close game and rolling to a stunning 45-18 victoiy over the Ranger Bulldogs in the season finale for both squads.
With the win, Lingleville finished the year at 2-8 overall and 1-4 in District 13-Aplay. Ranger finished at 2-8 and 0-4.
The Bulldogs delivered the game’s first fireworks. Running back James Cough-lin gave Ranger the early lead by scoring just under 3 minutes into the contest. It was the first of two scores the RHS standout would register.
