The Gorman Lady Panthers and the Cisco Lady Loboes both received a dose of heavy praise from the state pollsters this week. Both squads appeared in the Top
25 of the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ weekly girls’ poll. Gorman, off to a 2-0 start, A poll. The Lady Panthers, one of two area squads in the ranking, trailing toprated Jayton in the rankings. Perrin-Whitt, Texline and Brookeland rounded out the top four spots. Huckabay is ranked ninth. The Lady Loboes narrowly missed cracking the Top 10 in the 2A poll. Cisco was 11th overall.
