The Cisco Loboes know exactly what they will face when they take to the field on Friday. It’s win or start playing basketball sooner than they want.
Fresh off a tough 59-14 loss to Anson, the Loboes will put their postseason hopes on the line when they face off against the Olney Cubs at Chelsey Field. A win would give Cisco the No. 4 seed in the District 4-2A standings and earn them a berth in the Class 2A state playoffs. A loss would make Olney the district’s fourth-pace representative.
Cisco, now 5-4 overall, struggled to get its potent offense going early against Anson. The Loboes did not find the end zone through the first 2 ½ quarters. Cisco amassed just 186 total yards in the contest.
