The Altar Society of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church will hold their 28th Annual Magi’s Bazaar at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Hall, 1100 Avenue F in Cisco (behind Brookshires), on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The Bazaar will feature handcrafted holiday items, unique home décor and gift items, framed art, jewelry, collectibles (Waterford, Wedgwood and other tableware), Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations, and lots of mouth-watering baked goods. Some of our handcrafted items include handknitted scarves, quilts and quilted items, crocheted scrubbies, dishrags, and afghans. Our male shoppers can browse through tools and hardware. We have a new section for our quilters and seamstresses – a “Quilters’ Corner” filled with quilt fabric and quilt books/patterns. For baked goods, we will have pumpkin and pecan pies, pumpkin rolls, sourdough bread, cookies and cakes, candies, and fudge. You can enjoy these baked goodies right away or freeze them for the Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays. For our hungry morning shoppers, we will have breakfast burritos, along with muffins, cherry or apple danish and other pastries to enjoy with a complimentary cup of coffee or juice. Chili, frito pie, chopped brisket sandwiches, and pulled pork sandwiches – with chips and a drink – will be available for either dine-in or take-out lunch. Our thanks to our loyal supporters for shopping with us over the years. Your support has helped us maintain the sacristy and sanctuary in our 104-year-old Church in a manner befitting the glory of God and fund the Margaret Torres Higher Learning Scholarship. Everyone is invited to join us in our new Parish Hall for a fun-filled day of shopping, visiting, and feasting on home-cooking! Save the Date – Magi’s Bazaar on Saturday, November 2nd!
