Cody Means scored three touchdown in the second half on Friday and helped the Baird Bears claim a 60-12 victory over the Ranger Bulldogs in an important District 13-A showdown in Baird.
With the win, the Bears clinched at least second in the district standings, and guaranteed themselves one of the district’s two postseason berths. Ranger slipped to 2-6 and 0-3 in district. Caiden Cuellar and James Coughlin tallied Ranger’s two scored.
Cuellar’s score came via a 42-yard kickoff return.
