By Tommy Wells The Gordon Longhorns scored on four of their first six offensive plays on Friday and cruised to a 54-0 victory over the Ranger Bulldogs in a District 13-A showdown at O.C. Warden Stadium in Ranger.
With the win, Gordon ran its season record to 8-0 and extended their win streak to a state’s best 23 contests. Ranger slipped to 2-6 and 0-4 in district.
Ranger will return to action on Friday when they travel to Baird. The game sis scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
