The Cisco Loboes kept their postseason hopes alive and well on Friday by grinding out an easy 46-7 victory over the Texas Charter Leadership Academy Eagles in Abilene. The Loboes rolled up more than 300 total yards while running in many of their younger stars.
With the victory. Cisco improved to 5-2 overall and, more importantly, moved to 1-1 in District 8-2A action. The Loboes trail district-leading Stamford and Hawley by one game heading into Week 8 of the high school season. TCLA fell to 0-7 and 0-2.
Julius Proffitt and the CHS offense didn’t waste any time in cranking up the offense in the first. The Loboes scored six times in the first 12 minutes of the game and never looked back.
