Invited by Eastland County Water Supply District, Eastland Lions Club recently held their Tuesday noon meeting at the Supply District’s Board Room, joined by Ranger Lions Club members. Following lunch, both clubs were given a tour of the district’s new facility, which houses not only up-to-date equipment, but the latest advanced technology. This assures providing high quality water to the district’s initiators, the cities of Eastland and 5DH RDG RIFH Ken Chapman and Steve Gerdes, and lead operator Kim Harper were on hand to explain this technology, including, as one example, the ZeeWeed 1500 membrane system, which provides high quality water that meets or exceeds government water quality regulations through its OWHL WHP RH of the newest in Texas.
