County to meet Sept. 12th
Dr. Laura Pressley is the speaker for the Tea Party Patriots of Eastland County on September 12th at 6:30 pm, at the Myrtle Wilks Community Center 1498 IH-20 In Cisco.
Dr Pressley is a native Texan having grown up in Mansfield. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from UT Austin. Dr. Pressley worked for 17 years as an engineer and business manager in the semiconductor industry. She holds four US patents and is the coauthor of numerous peer reviewed scientific articles related to semiconductor device processing. Dr. Pressley is an entrepreneur and worked with the Texas Eagle Forum and the Texas Legislature on a number of science and technology issues. She is very active in the community serving on several boards such as the Travis County Battered women's shelter, and the Center for Natural Living. Dr. Laura Pressley has appeared on CBS Early Show, Good Morning Austin, and has testified as a citizen's advocate to the City Council and the Texas State Senate and House. Dr. Pressley will be speaking on voting integrity and safety.
