Mary Warford Guest Speaker at Lions Club

Ranger Lions Club welcomed Mary Warford as guest speaker at a recent meeting. Mrs. Warford, new member of the Ranger College Foundation Board, gave an interesting talk about her years of involvement with the college, including memories from the years of her son’s attendance. Four grandchildren were enrolled in the college’s dual credit program, she added. Mary was also employed as pail of the administration staff, helping to recruit students and encouraging positive growth of the college. She spoke fondly of these students and noted that she still has contact with some. Attorney Tommy Warford, Mary’s husband, attended Ranger College (formerly Ranger Jr. College) before he studied and pursued a career in law. The Warfords’ have always been unerring supporters of Ranger College and the sUidents, President Derrick Worrels pointed out. The program was hosted by Stephanie and President Worrels.
