Ranger College Announces Changes in Athletic Department

Ranger College recently was excited to announce a in its Athletic Department. After a storied tenure as the head baseball coach, Scott Norwood will be stepping down from his coaching role to embrace the responsibilities of a full-time Athletic Director and Alumni Relations position.

Scott Norwood, who has been an integral part of Ranger College’s baseball contributed to the team’s success over the years. His dedication to the sport and mentorship of the student- athletes has left a lasting mark on the program. Norwood’s role as Athletic Director will allow him to apply his extensive experience and leadership skills letic department and build stronger alumni relations.

“Coach Norwood has been a pillar of strength for our baseball team,” said Ranger College President, Derrick Worrels. “We are thrilled that he will now channel his passion for sports and community building into enhancing our athletic programs and fostering lasting relationships with our alumni.”
