Political Statement
Friends, Family, and Fellow Mavericks, I, Kalli Stacy, am seeking Place 6 on the Eastland ISD Board of Trustees. I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to serve as an EISD Board Member in the past, serving from 2013- 2019. As Romans 12:6 tells us, God has given each of us a gift to use in being a servant for Him. I believe I can use my gift by being as a voice for you and your children. By serving with grace, encouragement, and unity, I will plant a seed to build a strong foundation of value, character, and Maverick pride.
Over the past few years, I feel that the trust and unity between EISD students, parents, and staff has been broken. I believe honesty and transparency are the key factors in regaining this trust. We must start working together and reopen the lines of communication. We need to create a support system that positively encourages and strengthens our children’s overall education. And that takes all of us working togetheradministrators, teachers, staff, parents, and students. Our children’s education is not only the academic knowledge they gain, but also the ability to comprehend, organize, and manage. It is teaching character, responsibility, teamwork, work ethic, accountability, and values. I feel that we all agree and want only what’s best for our students, so I truly believe we can reunite and regain that trust with good leadership.
