Dakota Higgins and Kobey Morris both picked up gold medals in their individual events and the Rising Star 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay squads powered their way to medals on March 21 and helped carry the Wildcats to a third-place finish in the final team standings at the Blanket Tigers Relays.
As a team, Rising Star amasses 96 points in the meet. Jonesboro won the boys’ team crown with 140 points. Santa Anna finished a distant second with 102.
