By Tommy Wells Brooklyn Sanchez turned in a sensational performance last week at the Rising Star Relays. The Ranger High School standout pocketed two portion of the March 8 meet.
She turned more than a few heads in the discus competition. She recorded a throw of 88 second overall. Her sister, Katelyn was sixth in the discus standings at 71 feet.
Brooklyn collected her second medal in the shot put competition, taking third with a throw of 28-1. in the girls’ 100-meter race with a run of 17.16 seconds. Katelyn was 12th in the race at 16.40.
