Charles Edward Little (1938-2024) Charles Edward Little (85) beloved husband, father and grandfather finished his race and met his Savior face-toface on Friday January 19th, 2024 in Abilene, Texas. He was surrounded by his wife and children as he entered the gates of heaven, where we know he was greeted with, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
The youngest of six chil dren, Charles was born to John and Mamie Little in Gorman, Texas on April 26th, 1938. He was an avid skier, football player and rodeo enthusiast in his youth. He graduated from Carbon High School and worked for R.M. Sneed Construction until he entered into the United States Army.
He was happily married to his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Little née Collins, for 61 years. Together they built a life devoted to one another, God and their three children; Caye Mauney, Charla Bur gess and Alan Little.
