It’s Not Enough to Just Vote Republican Most of us realize our country is on a very bad course. The president and his Democrat party have allowed our borders to be overrun. They promote gender- changing surgery for children, and males competing in girls’ sports. They are forcing us to replace fossil fuels with so-called “renewable energy”, which will greatly increase the cost of every aspect of living. The complete tally of changes they are trying to force on society is too lengthy to list here. But these changes all have three things in common: They are supposedly done for “the common good,” they give the government coercive, dictatorial powers, and they rob us of our individual freedoms.
At election time, it might seem the simple, easy way to oppose them is to vote Republican. We have lives to live and families to take care of, and we don’t have time to put our elected officials under the microscope and look at everything they do. We do what seems to make sense- we vote for whoever has an “R” – Republican – next to his or her name.
The unfortunate fact is, not all Republicans are equal. Any elected body, whether it be the state house or the US Senate, is a club. To get anything done, one must get along with other members of the club. Some are willing to go further to get along than others. Some play with and for the other team.
