Alexis Lynn scored 10 points and Brooklyn Sanchez added nine more on Friday and helped the Ranger Lady Bulldogs throw a scare into the Victory Baptist Lady Patriots. The RHS girls rallied from an early deficit to pull to within five, at 35-30, at the final buzzer.
Ranger, which is scheduled to host Poolville on January 12, got off to a slow start offensively against Victory Baptist. The Lady Bulldogs pushed in just five points in the first eight minutes of play and found themselves trailing, 11-5, at the start of the second.
Ranger, which suffered a 10-point loss to Victory only days earlier, got going from there.
