We held our regularly scheduled Commissioners meet on Thursday the 4th of January at 5:30pm in the Gorman Community Center. After our opening prayer and the Pledges, the Commissioners moved the department reports up on the agenda so some of those giving the reports could attend other meetings.
Once the department reports were received the commissioners approved the minutes from the previous meeting and approved payment of the bills. The Commissioners then received a presentation by the City Secretary that was required by the CDBG grant we received for equipment for the fire department.
The Commissioners then approved a proposal to remedy a property issue for Lonnie Bravo after which item #9 was tabled at the request of our Animal Control Of- ficer John Perez. The Mayor then discussed the various things being done at the Library and passed a birthday card around for Bertha Bryant for the Commissioners to sign. The meeting then adjourned.
