Upon meeting Bill, you knew he was a proud Navy veteran. He retired February 19, 1968 from the United States Navy. He served on the USS Bairoko, USS Boxer, USS Yorktown, USS Ticonderoga, USS Coral Sea, USS Midway, and the USS Kittyhawk. While in the Navy, he was quiet, but received many accommodations including getting a napalm bomb off the ship to save others. He instilled patriotism into his family and started the Ex-GI Association in Cisco to continue to honor the veterans in our community.
Bill raised his family in Cisco. He was a lifelong Lobo fan. In addition to his Navy service, he also retired from the United States Postal Service. He made it a priority to be at every event for his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Bill was preceded in death by the love of his life Dottie Eudy, Parents Pete and Sopha Eudy, Daughter Tamara Eudy, Son James Riley, Grandson Dalton Shaw, along numerous other siblings, cousins, and friends that became family.
