The Eastland Mavericks found their groove this past weekend at the Hamilton Invitational Basketball Tournament. They found it a lot.
The Mavericks, backed by strong outings from Grady Galyean and Isaiah Hays, pounded out wins in three of their four games at the threeday tournament. In so doing, Eastland evened its season record at 5-5 heading into their Dec. 15 matchup with the Abilene Hawks.
