Coach Brock Kimball, the head coach of Cisco College’s women’s basketball team, spent two years of his childhood growing up on the Cisco College campus.
His father, Bruce Kimball, was an assistant basketball coach under Ronnie Hearne in the 1990s. When Brock was 4 and 5 years old, the Kimball family lived in Bivins Hall.
“I’ve got very early memories of Cisco College,” the younger Coach Kimball said. “There used to be a basketball goal on the parking lot where the Vo-Tech I building is now, and that was one of the few places I was allowed to go. I could go down there and shoot because you could still see it from Bivins.” It was also within hollering distance when his parents would call him to come home.
