Grady Galyean chipped in 19 points and Isaiah Hays and Laike Kennedy added 16 and 15 more, repsectively, on Friday and powered the Eastland Mavericks to a resounding 6835 romp over the Lingleville Cardinals in non-district basketball action.
Eastland put Lingleville in an early hole, outscoring the Cardinals by a staggering 18-0 clip to begin the game.
After Galyean had opened the scoring with a free throw, Laike Kennedy kicked the Mavs’ offense into gear with back-to-back buckets. Following baskets by Hezahcia Patel and Kennedy that pushed Eastland’s lead to 9-0, Galyean and Isaiah Hays began heating up. Galyean drained a three-pointer from the win moments later to extend the Mavs’ lead to 12-0.
